Julie Ju-Youn Kim will share reflections on the work included in the exhibit “Unwrapping the Hanbok + Villa of Veils: Rendering the Body Present.” She will position the theoretical studies and installation within a multi-layered framework of conceptual, cultural and social threads which, together, raise questions of gender, containment and boundaries.
This Lecture coincides with an exhibit in the Kibel Gallery, on display from February 3 through May 2014.
