The University of Maryland, in conjunction with the Neighborhood Development Collaborative, an affordable housing company, has hosted a symposium once every five years on the state of senior housing in the United States and abroad. As the boomers move into senior territory, the Senior Symposium provides a caucus for discussion and documentation on the evolving designs and development models for seniors. This year’s symposium will update the demographic and data points from the 2005 and 2010 symposia and add a focus on international developments as well as a focus on housing for the mobility impaired.

This symposium is a two day event:

Day 1: May 1, 2015 from 8:30am-5:30pm

Day 2: May 2, 2015 from 8:30am-5:30pm

There is free parking for this event in Lot 1.
