Joshua Olsen, Senior Vice President at Monument Realty, and author of the book Better Places, Better Lives: A Biography James Rouse, will speak about the late developer, James Rouse.
Dubbed the “master planner” when he appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, James Rouse, personified the visionary spirit that shaped the structure of the American city. Joshua Olsen will talk about the accomplishments of James Rouse and how his talent for artfully mixing planning, development, psychology and finance made him one of the world’s greatest influences on the built environment.
Book signing and reception start at 6:30pm. Lecture is from 7:00-8:00pm.
