Giving Day is Wednesday, March 9!
Giving Day is a 24-hour giving challenge that supports student scholarships, academic programs and school initiatives. Join alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (MAPP+D) to support our students as they pursue their fearless ideas in sustainability, design, preservation, real estate development, and community building.

- The first $2,500 in gifts made to any fund in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation will be matched, dollar for dollar, by Craig Spangler (B.Arch '83).
- Architecture Pioneers Scholarship - Gifts will be matched, up to $12,500, thanks to Roger Lewis, Rich Vogel (B.S. Eng '72), Bill Bonstra (B.Arch '83), and Michael (M.Arch '96) and Susan (M.Arch '97) Salsbury.
- Brian Kelly, AIA Travel Abroad Fund - Gifts will be matched up to $7,000, thanks to Steve (B.Arch '72) & Catherine (B.A. '78) Parker, Susan (M.Arch '97) & Michael (M.Arch '96) Salsbury, and an anonymous donor.
- Urban Studies and Planning Alumni Award Fund - Gifts will be matched in honor of Dr. Jim Cohen, up to $3,300, thanks to Gerrit Knaap, Marie Howland, Alex Chen, Howie Baum, Uri Avin, and Casey Dawkins.
- Real Estate Development Scholarship - Gifts will be matched, up to $3,000, thanks to Barry Zeller ‘86,Spiegelman ‘86, and Cory Zelnik ‘86.
- If at least 150 donors make a gift to MAPP+D on Giving Day, Craig Spangler (B.Arch '83) will give an additional $2,500 to the Dean's Scholarship Fund to support students in all of our programs.
