Thank you to everyone in the MAPP+D community who played a role in making Giving Day 2019 such a success! The School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation raised $28,887 through 112 gifts from 70 donors! Because of these donations, students will receive more scholarships, faculty will be given more teaching resources and the dean will be able to respond favorably to critical funding requests.
A HUGE thank you goes out to Craig Spangler (B.ARCH ‘82) for encouraging people to maximize the impact of their gift by creating two incentives to give. One rewarded the entire school with an additional $3,000 for bypassing our goal of 100 gifts for the day, and the other matched gifts made by alumni who graduated between 2000 and 2018.
Last year, MAPP+D raised $14,004 from 78 gifts. Since the first MAPP+D Giving Day in 2015, our community has raised nearly $64,000 from 349 gifts. Thanks to all of you!
