Caroline Ann O'Donnell is the Edgar A. Tafel Assistant Professor in the Architecture Department at Cornell University and is principal of the design practice CODA. She was the winner of MoMA/PS1's Young Architects' Program in 2013 with the project Party Wall.

Caroline will discuss the theories outlined in her book Niche Tactics: Generative Relationships between Architecture and Site. The book shows how architecture's relationship with site aligns with its ecological analogue: the relationship between an organism and its environment. She will also show several CODA projects in detail, mostly focusing on pavilions and small scale work.

You may her CODA work at this website: www.co-da.co

This event is the 2017 Craig and Mimi Spangler Lecture Series/Student's Choice Lecture.
