Contextualizing Africa, an exhibition from Rice University, showcases the resilience, ingenuity and rich heritage of African architecture. More than structures, these works embody Black identity’s global influence. The exhibit fosters engagement with African and Black history, reinforcing the connection between heritage, creativity and inclusion. It serves as a call to embrace diversity, honor heritage and advance equity.
