Join us for a Baltimore Lexington Market Student Tour and explore food and the built environment!

About Lexington Market

Founded in 1782, Lexington Market is one of the oldest continuously operating public market in the US. This Baltimore icon recently completed a $45 Million redevelopment led by Seawall Development and Baltimore Public Markets Corporation. Over half of the vendors are black-owned and over half are women-owned.

This event was organized by Master of Community Planning students Wendy Bazil and Hoang Edullantes. We invite all MAPPD students who are interested in learning more about the intersection of food, culture, and the built environment to attend!
