Learn first hand about the role culture, geography, and history play in architectural form by investigating the built and natural environment in Scandinavia. Spend time in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland; you will stay in the national capitals of Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Stockholm, and use these urban locales as bases for excursions into the wider metropolitan milieu.
The program will begin with a stay in Helsinki, the Finnish capital, and an extended bus excursion into the Finnish countryside. An overnight ferry from Turku, Finland, into the Swedish capital of Stockholm will form the middle leg of the program. A group flight from Stockholm to the Danish capital of Copenhagen will round out the experience.
You will stay in hostels while in Copenhagen and Helsinki, a hotel in Helsinki, and a cabins in Evo, and ferry cabins in Turku.
This program is open to students in the Architecture Program only. You must be in good academic and judicial standing. Please refer to the Fact Sheet at the top of this page for specific eligibility requirements.
