Summer 2021 Planning Internship

Responsibilities

We  are  seeking  landscape  design,  planning,  and urban  ecology  students  to  join  our  team,  who  enjoy working  in  a  fast‐paced,  creative  environment. Internships are  a  full-time  12  to  16  week position  working closely  with Asakura Robinson’s  studios  on  a  variety  of projects. Projects  may  include  community  engagement  components and  development  of  master  plans  and  construction document  packages.  This  position  require  a  high  level  of professional  attitude  as  the  intern  will  be  engaging directly  with  clients  and  stakeholders  on  exciting  and interesting  projects. 

Qualifications

Pursuing  Masters  or  Bachelor  of  Landscape Architecture  or  similar  program, (experience  with  urban  planning  or  urban  design  is  a bonus,  but  not  required) • Excellent  communication  and  organizational  skills, • Strong  visual  communication  skills  and  graphic talent, • Knowledge  of  AutoCAD,  Adobe  Creative  Suite, Sketchup  and  rendering  programs,  GIS • Ability  to  work  well  under  pressure  with  tight deadlines
