Capstone

The Capstone project is the final requirement for the Master of Real Estate Development degree. It is an individual project that integrates knowledge from all parts of the MRED curriculum, and it presents an opportunity for students to explore their own interests with the support of faculty and professional mentors.

MRED December 2009, B.S. Architecture 2008
Collins proposed a financially viable, sustainable, mixed-use development near Washington's new Nationals ballpark. During her time in the MRED program, she competed in the 2009 Real Estate Investment and Development Organization (REIDO) Competition, in which the UM team placed third out of 26. She currently works for Bozzuto Management Company.
