Comprehensive Design Studio

By bridging the gap between design theory and the practice of architecture, the Comprehensive Design Studio (ARCH 600), provokes students to develop a rigorous design process that can synthesize conflicting aesthetic and technical criteria. The Comprehensive Design Studio has been recognized for its excellence with several citations: the American Institute of Architects Education Honor Award, the Lilly Center for Teaching Excellence Honor Award, and an ACSA Teaching Award for Courses that Integrate Technology into the Design Studio.
