2002 - Creating Public Space for a Better Community: Langley Park, MD

The purpose of this studio project is for the project report to be used as supporting documentation to impact decisions that will effect future development in the Crossroads in Langley Park, MD. This plan provides the basic framework to continue the planning process for creating a public space and addresses the essential need for consensus building among relevant organizations in the Crossroads area. This participation will shape the activities necessary for successful implementation of each element of the plan. The support generated from residents, local community leaders, and business owners in producing the report along with the implementation tools included in the report make this plan a practical and feasible solution to a number of the key needs that have.
