previous education: bachelor of environmental design-university of colorado at boulder-2001
future aspirations: i would like to work for a firm that has a lot of projects in other countries...i love traveling and learning new cultures, and the integration of architecture into that culture would only make me happier. ultimately i would like to start my own firm, and teach at a university
design philosophy: i believe in constantly complementing my education, by upgrading my skills in areas which may not be too familiar...architecture is a given to me, as something to study for the rest of my life, so i like to focus on reading philosophy, psychology and other areas as much as possible to ultimately aid in the design process, and to enlarge my bank of experiences to draw from...
how has the UMD School of Architecture benefited you: umd, even simply as a different school from which i completed my undergraduate studies, has already offered and incredibly rich school of thought to complement what i learned at colorado. the focus on practicality and urban issues has gotten me even more excited to work in the "real world"...the other grad students here offer great resources and create a very positive and healthy academic environment which in turn becomes a class of its own. UMD has and i believe will continue to fulfill my expectations of what a great architecture graduate school should be.
