The University of Maryland at College Park maintains eight libraries, including Architecture, Art, McKeldin, and Hornbake. With your student ID, you may check out circulating materials from any of these facilities. Instructors typically place course readings on reserve at the Architecture or McKeldin libraries.
The School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation has it's own branch library, located on the second floor of the School. Although it is open limited hours to the public, all students, staff and faculty of the School have 24/7 access for studying, scanning, checking out books or browsing magazines.
The library contains books on the subject areas of the school, both bound and current periodicals, a reference section, as well as a Special Collections room. Materials may be requested from other universities nationwide as well. Librarians are available by appointment to assist with your research needs.
