Urban Studies & Planning Alumni Association

Welcome to the Alumni Association of the Urban Studies and Planning Program!

Our University of Maryland colleagues are valuable resources in our planning community. By staying in touch, we can help each other as we progress in our careers. The Alumni Association is dedicated to strengthening communications, and encouraging active involvement with the students and faculty of the Urban Studies and Planning Program. Your participation in this effort is essential to improve our network of alumni around the country.

The Alumni Association assists the Program in activities such as student recruitment, mentoring, and career workshops. It is also the Association's goal to encourage and facilitate alumni networking by coordinating social activities in the Washington-Baltimore region, including happy hours, and UM sporting events. You are encouraged to help organize an event, volunteer to be a mentor, or get involved in any way you can.

Please browse this web site to learn more about faculty and student accomplishments, and new features of the Urban Studies and Planning Program. Be sure to visit the alumni profiles, professional development, and gift opportunities pages.

We invite all URSP alumni to please e-mail Alex Chen, if you would like to participate, or just to give us an update on your lifetime progress. The Association is currently looking for members of each graduating class to assist. Let us know if you can help.
