We have assembled some information to aid you in your transition into our classroom/studio environment.

These documents address many of the frequently asked questions posed by students. Should you find that there are items that are not addressed, please let us know so that we can help you get the answer to your question as well as include that information in future iterations of this document. The Graduate School

For information about housing, campus life, and policies, go to The Graduate School.

The Graduate School also organizes Welcome weeks for incoming students.  In 2014, the Graduate Student Welcome Weeks were held between August 19 and September 5.   Graduate Student Welcome Weeks are generally three weeks of programming designed to spread awareness about the various on and off-campus services the University has to offer.  The workshops and events that were held last year were a great success and we hope to continue that trend with this group of incoming GradTerps.

The Graduate School provides writing workshops to Ph.D. students working on their dissertation.  The Graduate School Writing Center, in partnership with the Libraries, will hold regular Graduate Student Research and Writing Bootcamps.   The workshop will cover graduate-specific library privileges, effective research and citation practices, and writing from sources.  Participants will receive a certificate verifying their completion of the course. Space is limited. For more information, please contact The Graduate School Writing Center at
