Ann Peterone has been with the University of Maryland for 25 years.  For 17 years, she served as assistant to the dean of the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.  She joined the National Center for Smart Growth in August 2008.  Prior to her employment at the University of Maryland, Ms. Petrone was an entrepreneur, owning her own seafood business and restaurant.
