Managing Principal,  2001 to present
Founder and managing principal of a nationally recognized real estate market research firm with offices in Columbia, Maryland, and Atlanta, Georgia.  RPRG serves developers, homebuilders, financial institutions, medical and educational institutions, and government agencies across the real estate industry, addressing a range of products and markets including rental housing, for-sale housing, affordable housing, seniors housing, commercial uses, and downtown/neighborhood revitalization.

Managing Director , 1998 to 2001
Served as Managing Director of research subsidiary of national accounting firm.  Supervised and conducted market research studies for rental and for sale housing throughout the Eastern United States.

Regency Homes, Annapolis, MD
Director of Research and Information Technology, 1995 to 1997
Ran a research subsidiary of this regional homebuilder.  Responsibilities included strategic planning for expansion into the Southeast United States, evaluation of new development opportunities, analyzing product positioning of active communities.  Also conducted consumer surveys of prospects and buyers.

Served as Senior Vice President of Legg Mason Realty Group, a real estate research subsidiary of  Legg Mason, Inc. Responsibilities included supervising firm's real estate research consulting practice and serving as publisher of a Mid-Atlantic residential data service, Housing Market Profiles

Real Property Research Group, Inc., Columbia, MD.
Analyst, 1985 to 1987
Served as a market analyst and developed residential data service, Housing Market Profiles.  Firm was acquired by Legg Mason in 1987.
