Kathy Thorne has been with the University of Maryland University System since October 2006.  She joined the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in May, 2011.  She comes to us from Towson University, Towson Maryland.
 
Kathy is the Executive Assistant to the Dean of the School.  She works with the staff in the Dean's office and coordinates the flow of work through the office, interacts with various office personnel in the School to facilitate work flow, and serves as a resource on office practices and procedures. She also assists with various functions that support the Deans special events that include some development activities, recruitment, special student events, and other dean sponsored activities
