Elaine Gray serves as Director of Business Development Base Building and Institutional for HITT Contracting Inc. Her career encompasses more than 20 years of business development, marketing, and public relations experience in the architectural and commercial real estate industries. She gained an understanding of design and construction early in her career as a paralegal specializing in construction litigation. In her role at HITT Contracting, she focuses on regional and national opportunities for renovation and new construction in base building office, hotel, education, mixed-used, and other institutional projects.

Elaine is an active participant in the business community. She co-chairs the Membership Committee of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) and, is past President and a former Board Member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) DC. She also is the recipient of the 2007 CREW DC Annual Achievement Award.
