PhD Student Wins Metropolis Conference Award

Joe Costanzo, PhD Student, University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning and PreservationPhD student Joe Costanzo has won an award from from the Organizers of the 2010 Metropolis Conference in the Hague to present his research on cultural participation and the integration of immigrants in Belgium.

Joe is currently on fellowship at the University of Liege (Belgium), where he is working on his Ph.D. thesis, "Planning to integrate: Immigrant participation in urban cultural projects—Brussels' Zinneke Parade."
