LEAFHouse Participants on Voices of the Chesapeake Bay Radio Show

July 7, 2009

LEAFHouse Team Leader Brittany Williams, along with faculty advisers Dr. Kaye Brubaker, Julie Gabrielli, and Amy Gardner will be featured on the radio program Voices of the Chesapeake Bay with noted radio host Michael Buckley.   Brittany, Kaye, Julie and Amy will talk about LEAFHouse, its connection to the Chesapeake Bay watershed, and its role in Leading Everyone to an Abundant Future.   The show will air on Sunday, 12 July

"The Voices of the Chesapeake Bay Interview Project is created to help  us further develop our 'sense of place.'  The Voices Project is ongoing, inherently 'inclusive' and well-rounded, giving us the ability to see our bio-region, the Chesapeake Bay watershed, from a variety of perspectives  and points of view. With this ability we can fully and truly appreciate this incredible place called the Chesapeake Bay." http://www.voicesofthechesapeakebay.org/

"Perhaps the coolest tribute you can receive in the Chesapeake Bay area is an invitation to have your story told on the Voices of the Chesapeake Bay radio program. The Sunday morning program on Annapolis-based WRNR-FM (103.1) features interviews with notable historians, scientists, watermen, craftsmen, farmers, boaters, activists, leaders, and others whose lives are fundamentally connected to the Bay." http://www.cbf.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=39665&news_iv_ctrl=0&abbr=SB_MD_
