MRED Graduation Award Winners

Seven graduating Master's of Real Estate Development students are recognized during the School's Spring commencement ceremony. The winners are:

June Chokechaitanasin - Director's Award, awarded to the student who has demonstrated all around outstanding commitment, character and scholarship. June is employed with the General Services Administration.

Marcus Ervin - CAPSTONE winner, Winter 2008,best final project determined by an independent jury of faculty and real estate professionals. Marcus is employed with Prince George's County Housing Authority.

Jonathan David Florin  - CAPSTONE winner, Spring 2009,best final project determined by an independent jury of faculty and real estate professionals. Jonathan is an intern with JBG Rosenfeld Retail.

Leslie Pitmon Hristov - Dean's Award, presented to a graduating student who has exemplified outstanding performance. Leslie is employed with the Peterson Companies at National Harbor.

Daniel Scott Irvin - Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, recognizes the student achieving the highest grade point average. Daniel is employed with G.L. Smith Associates.

Abdullah Osman - Faculty Award for Academic Excellence, presented to the student with the highest all around quality of academic work. Abdullah is employed with Stonebridge Group in Bethesda.

Andrew Jay Rose - Colvin Institute Alumni Welcome Award, has demonstrated ongoing involvement and commitment to the program while connecting to the professional real estate community. Andrew is employed with Next Realty in McLean.
