The University of Maryland's award-winning LEAFHouse was published in the Fall 2008 issue of Crit, the journal of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS).
Master of Architecture student Kira Canon's article recreates the experience of thousands of visitors touring the house on the National Mall during the Solar Decathlon. Canon also describes many of the innovative sustainable strategies created by University of Maryland architecture and engineering students during the interdisciplinary, collaborative design process.
