LEAFHouse, the University of Maryland's award-winning 2007 Solar Decathlon entry, is back on campus! Tours will be offered on Saturday, October 4, every hour on the hour, starting at 11am.

Through an agreement with the University of Maryland, the local AIA chapter has purchased LEAFHouse and will maintain it as both the chapter office and as a working demonstration laboratory located right here on campus.

Featured as part of the 2008 Washington Solar Homes Tour, the LEAFHouse Tours will serve as an opener to AIA PV's annual Architecture Week which will run from October 4–13, 2008. Download the Architecture Week 2008 flyer (PDF)

LEAFHouse Tour + Happy Hour for Young Professionals
Come visit the award-winning Solar Decathlon house designed by students at the University of Maryland! This special PRIVATE event is open only to AIA Interns, Associates, Emerging Professionals and Emerging Green Builder members. We will start by screening the documentary “We are All Smith Islanders” (35 minutes), followed by a discussion of the features of LEAFHouse.
