Please join us for Avanti 2017: The 25th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament on Friday, October 6, 2017, shotgun start at 8:30 AM. Help us celebrate the legacy of Professor Thomas Schumacher, on the occassion of MAPP's 50th Anniversary!
The 25th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament, sponsored by the MAPP+D Alumni Chapter, is a yearly event for alumni and friends of the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Funds raised will benefit the Thomas L. Schumacher Memorial Endowment and the Dean’s Scholarship Fund. The Schumacher Endowment wascreated in honor of the late Professor Tom Schumacher, a longtime faculty leader in the program. The fund provides opportunities for students in the architecture program to participate in the summer study program in Rome. The Dean’s Scholarship Fund helps to attract outstanding undergraduate and graduate students to its programs in architecture, historic preservation, real estate development and urban studies and planning.
Sign-in, warm-ups, and morning refreshments begin at 7:30 AM and close at 8:15 AM.Shotgun start is at 8:30 AM; post-round fare follows at 1:30 PM.Price includes use of driving range for warm-up, greens fees, carts and food.
Cost is $125.00 per golfer or $450.00 per foursome.
- Early birds: register your foursome by Friday, September 15, 2017 and save $25 ($425).
- Registration deadline is Friday, September 29, 2016.
