Biography

Andrew Pressman, FAIA, NCARB, teaches the required graduate-level Professional Practice course. He is the author of Professional Practice 101: A Compendium of Effective Business Strategies in Architecture, now in its third edition.

Pressman leads his own award-winning architectural firm in Washington, DC. His work has been featured in more than 30 professional, scholarly, and popular publications, including Architectural Record, Architecture, and Washingtonian magazine.

Pressman has written numerous critically acclaimed books and articles including Design Thinking: A Guide to Creative Problem Solving for Everyone (Routledge), and he and holds a Master's degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
