Joshua Olsen, Senior Vice President of Monument Realty in Washington, D.C., will his discuss his book about the visionary developer and master planner, James Rouse, who was a key figure in the story of how and why the United States was built the way it was during the last half century. This engaging biography, Better Places, Better Lives: A Biography of James Rouse, touches upon all aspects of Rouse's life.

 

Mr. Olsen will be signing copies of his book beginning at 6:00pm; the lecture will begin at 7:00pm.

Ms. Krasny is curator of the exhibit Hands on Urbanism: The Right to Green; the graphic designer for the exhibit is Alexander Schuh.
