Brent White is a designer with an expertise in digital design technology. He currently practices at Cannon Design in Baltimore, Maryland where he focuses on higher education and healthcare architecture. His academic work focuses on the intersection of disciplines and is based on the belief that hybrid environments are where innovation happens. This has included aspects of print making, product design, interaction design, physical computing, responsive systems and more. His research entitled "Project Synthia" links parametric frameworks with phyical computing allowing users to manipulate digital models and receive physical feedback. He's intrigued by complex systems and is excited by the transformation technology is fascilitating in the profession of architecture.
Brent teaches ARCH470 Computer Applications in Architecture an introductory course exploring computation and its impact on architecture.
