Visiting the School

The best way to learn more about the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation is to visit. Throughout the year, both the School and the University of Maryland invite prospective undergraduate students to "Visit Maryland Days" and prospective graduate students to attend our annual Graduate Open House. Whether you choose to visit on one of these special days and get the grand tour or you prefer to arrange an individual tour, a visit will certainly help you decide if the University of Maryland is the place to start your future. In addition, architecture studio reviews are always open to the public.

Undergraduate

To learn about the School's program in architecture and see the facilities and studios, as well as meet students and professors, prospective undergraduate students should attend a "Visit Maryland Day." Click here to learn how to arrange a visit with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

The School also hosts prospective architecture undergraduates on Mondays and Fridays from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. To schedule a visit, contact the School Office at 301.405.8000.

Graduate

Each fall, the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation hosts an Open House for prospective students to meet students and faculty and tour the facilities and studios.

For those interested in architecture, we also host individual visits to the School on Mondays and Fridays from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. To schedule a visit, contact the School Office at 301.405.8000.
